It is that time of year again where the temperature drops and the return of the cold begins, and I am not just referring to the weather.
Keeping yourself healthy at this time of year is important, and there is no better way to ward off colds and other winter illnesses using my Lemon Ginger Warmer.
A simple recipe but a solution with real power. With anti-inflammatory properties, not only does it work well as a winter warmer but it is well worth it for your health.
How to make it
The process is so simple:
- Bring your water to the boil
- Cut half a Lemon into slices and add the slices to the pot
- Squeeze the juice from the other half of the lemon into water
- Grab a couple of slices of fresh ginger and add to the water to infuse
Once cooled, store in a liquid container and keep in the fridge. Then, when required pour out and heat up.
