At Christmas time, for a lot of people, food plays a major part. I am always being asked how to balance Christmas and healthy eating.

My advice? Don’t. The festive season is almost here so let yourself go and don’t hold back. Come 1st January though, make sure you are back on track and ready to go.

Part of flexible dieting means eating healthy but staying in the reality of the real world. I understand that it can be hard to stay on track over the festive period with office Christmas parties, family events and the overall temptation.

It is important though, if you are working on a goal, to set the 1st January as your cornerstone and once that date comes you are back focused and ready to achieve.
